In 1962, Mrs. Evelyn Hardwood, then the City Recorder, was appointed Acting Curator of the exhibit.  On her retirement in June 1978 the city council named her as permanent Curator of the Teapot Collection, and as such she provided tours for visiting groups.  Mrs. Harwood was also the first Teapot Parade Marshall.
She died in 2006 at the age of 105.

- - - THANK YOU ! - - The City of Trenton and the Teapot Committee would like to thank everyone who worked so hard to make this year's Teapot Festival a success.
A special thanks to all the citizens of Trenton and neighboring communities who participated in the Festival events. Without this participation all efforts would be in vain.
